Perfect delightful and cozy We came here two consecutive days as staying nearby The California crunch is a must have . We had it at both occasions with chicken and just the plain one At both times - it was mouthwatering we also ordered the Avocado egg toast and it was well seasoned and very tasty I ordered a turmeric latte and it was perfectly balanced spices and great ! And then the lavender latte. The first few sips were a little bitter but then it became like a smooth delight we could wait to have more

Small and simple cafe. Easiest 5 stars I could give. Fair prices for the area and very fast service. Get something with the rosemary alioli -- I've never tasted anything like it!

Quaint and delicious with great service. Came here for two reasons: to continue my breakfast bagel tour de SF and to wait for the post office to open. Pleasantly surprised and totally understand the great reviews. Visiting UCSF or just visiting SF- this spot is worth a stop. I had the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel and man it was . Better than the one I get Saturday mornings at the farmers market which is hard to beat. The soy latte came fast and was scrumptious. Would recommend!

7 August 2024 While going for a walk around the city on our first day visiting San Francisco, my father and I came across this little shop and decided to stop for a coffee and a sandwich. The two ladies at the counter greeted us with a smile and were always very friendly, contributing to making our experience there pleasant. The food was also fantastic: we shared two sandwiches, a roast beef sandwich and a “California crunch” sandwich with salmon, both of which were delicious and we absolutely recommend! The coffee was also great, and could not get any better. Overall, we would definitely return to Crostini & Java in San Francisco for another quick bite, and we recommend that you also pay a visit for excellent food and service!

Possibly best croissant sandwich I've ever had (the ultimate) prepared by the kindest and friendliest people, with an epic view over old San Francisco. And what a matcha!! Get it hot, silky and delicious!!

Simply amazing. Great coffee, one of the most unique and original, with real ingredients. You can feel the quality in every sip. The sandwiches, I can't even describe how good they were. Simply delicious but also with multiple layers of taste. And on top of that, very friendly people.

Very tiny cafe in Nob hill. They specialize in the croissant sandwiches which I love to get every now and then. The matcha isn't the best, but the vanilla lattes are good. I love the workers here and the ambience is always nice for such a small place. There's also outdoor seating so perfect when the weather is nice

This place is perfect. Amazing breakfast sandwiches and coffee tastes great. Right in the thick of action but far enough away to take a rest. I walked here through the tenderloin and saw crack being smoked. No one was unfriendly. Service was great, lots of happy customers. If you eat outside on the hill, it feels very European. I will come here every time I visit.
